This review article summarises recent literature around host-virus interactions meditated by viral RNA and methods to study these interactions in a global manner. Also, it emphasises the importance of combining the omics methods with structural and biophysical investigations to understand the molecular mechanisms behind virus-host molecular interactions. This will open new avenues towards antiviral therapeutics.
