Janosch Hennig and Cristina Paulino (Figure 1) organized the 9th Murnau Conference on Structural Biology, which took place between the 18th and 21st of September. It was full of exciting scientific lecture and fruitful discussions. Thanks to all participants for creating such an amazing atmosphere. We had 20% more participants than in 2022 and thus broke the record (Figure 2). This shows that the structural biology community is thriving due to the technological advances during the recent two decades (resolution revolution and AI-driven protein structure prediction). We hope to see all back in Murnau 2026.
